Frequently Asked Questions
What is direct primary care?
Direct primary care is a membership-based model of healthcare that is different from insurance-based models. For a set, monthly cost, you can receive unlimited visits, in this case, telemedicine visits, without the wait of seeing your usual primary care provider and without the worry of paying any additional co-pays or fees.
Do you accept insurance?
Elite Faith Health does not accept insurance, since it runs on a membership model. Running on a membership-model, gives Elite Faith Health the flexibility to offer unlimited telemedicine visits, asynchronous visits (for some), prescription benefits, and care for your whole family at reduced costs. Please note, if you are in Virginia and have either Medicare or Medicaid insurance, if you are to be seen, you have to be seen using your insurance benefits. Contact us for more details.
What states do you serve?
Elite Faith Health offers virtual primary care and sick visit services in Virginia, Maryland, Florida, and Texas.
How do prescriptions work?
Elite Faith Health partners with a third-party vendor to provide you with prescription benefits. Everyone, no matter which membership you choose, has access to the benefits. With the prescription benefit program, you have access to over 1,000 medications on formulary at no cost. You can enjoy the convenience of 90-day supply of medications delivered to your doorstep with 6 free shipments a year; thereafter only $7.99 per additional shipment. You'll also have access to urgent care medications that you can pick up at over 70,000 pharmacies nationwide for FREE. If your medication is not on the formulary, you also have access to use a prescription discount card.
During your visit with an Elite Faith Health provider, your prescriptions will electronically be sent to the appropriate pharmacy, whereby, you will receive your benefits. If picking up an urgent care prescription from the pharmacy, be sure to show your prescription card made available to you after you are onboarded with Elite Faith Health.
How do I cancel my membership?
If you signed up within the past 6 months, per the Member Agreement, you cannot cancel until your 6-month commitment period is completed. After the first 6 months, your plan then moves to a month-to-month basis, whereby you are able to cancel at any time; however, your benefits will run until the end of the month and no refunds will be provided. To cancel, you can simply send a message in your Portal with your request to cancel, or you can email support@elitefaithhealth.com with your name, birthday, and cancellation statement.
